Ranked by points, then goal difference, then goals scored. Teams still level share a position (shown with =). Head-to-head records aren't used — if your league settles ties that way, order those teams by hand.

How to use it

  1. 1Type your results into the box, one per line, home team first — for example “Arsenal 2-1 Chelsea”. Or use the Add one result row.
  2. 2The table updates as you type. Choose the points system, and add any teams that haven't played yet.
  3. 3Copy the table, download it as a CSV for Excel, or share a link.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a league table from match results?

Type each result on its own line as “Home 2-1 Away”. The tool works out played, won, drawn, lost, goals for and against, goal difference and points for every team, and ranks them.

How are teams ranked?

By points, then goal difference, then goals scored, then name. Teams that are level on all three share a position, shown with an equals sign. Head-to-head results are not used, so if your league settles ties that way, order those teams by hand.

Can I use different points for a win?

Yes. Choose 3-1-0 (the usual football system), 3-2-1 or 2-1-0 for a win, draw and loss.

Does it work for cricket, hockey or other sports?

It suits any sport where a match has two scores and a win, draw or loss, such as football, hockey, rugby or handball. It does not do net run rate, so it isn't right for cricket tables.

Are my results saved or uploaded?

No. Everything stays in your browser. “Share link” puts your results inside the link itself rather than on a server, so anyone with the link sees the same table.
