8 teams. The first is seed 1: the top seeds meet the weakest teams, and when the number isn't a power of two (like 6 or 11) the top seeds get a bye into the next round.

Frequently asked questions
How do I make a tournament bracket?
Paste the team names, one per line. The tool builds a single-elimination bracket with standard seeding: seed 1 meets the lowest seed, and the top seeds are kept apart until the late rounds.
What happens if the number of teams isn't 4, 8 or 16?
The bracket is filled out to the next size and the top seeds get byes — they go straight into round two. With 6 teams, seeds 1 and 2 get a bye.
Can I draw the matches at random instead?
Yes. Choose “Random draw” and press Shuffle now to mix the teams, then press it again for a new draw.
Can I change a result after clicking?
Yes. Click the same team again to remove the result, or click the other team to change the winner. Later rounds that depended on it clear themselves.
Is there a third-place match or a double-elimination option?
Not yet. This makes a single-elimination bracket: lose once and you're out.
Is my bracket uploaded?
No. It is drawn in your browser. The share link stores your teams and results inside the link, not on a server.
