Is my PDF uploaded to a server?
No. In Instant mode and “My own chatbot” mode the PDF is read entirely in your browser and never leaves your device.
Can it read scanned PDFs or photos?
Instant mode needs a PDF with selectable text. For scans and photos, choose “My own chatbot”: the tool writes a detailed prompt, you attach the file to the chatbot you already use (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude …) and paste the answer back to get the table.
How do I extract only one table or one page?
Just say it: “table 2”, “the last table”, “page 3” or “pages 2-4”. The tool reads the instruction and limits the extraction.
Can it clean the data as well?
Yes — it can blank placeholders like “N/A”, drop rows with missing values, remove duplicates, turn amounts like “$1,234.50” into numbers and dates into YYYY-MM-DD. Ambiguous dates such as 03/04/2024 are flagged, never guessed silently.
Is it free?
Yes. No sign-up, no watermark and no page limit beyond a 15 MB file size.
