Frequently asked questions
How is reading time calculated?
At 238 words per minute (average silent reading); speaking time uses 150 words per minute.
Are characters counted with or without spaces?
Both are shown.
How does Title Case work?
Every word is capitalised except short words like “the”, “of” or “and” (unless they start the text or follow a colon). Deliberate mixed case such as “iPhone” is kept.
What is a URL slug?
A lowercase, hyphen-separated version of your text with accents removed — e.g. “Café Münster Match” → “cafe-munster-match”.
