Make a quote or estimate online — free, no sign-up

Put together a clear price quote for a customer: what you will do, what it costs and how long the offer stays open. Totals and tax are worked out for you, and you download a clean PDF. Nothing is uploaded.

Runs in your browser — nothing is uploaded

How to use it

  1. 1Check that the document type says Quote. Enter your business details at the top and who the quote is prepared for.
  2. 2List the work or goods, one item per line with quantity and price. Add tax or a discount if one applies, and choose how long the quote is valid.
  3. 3Check the preview, then download the PDF or a picture and send it to your customer.

Good to know

  • Say what is included and what isn't in the notes — for example “Materials not included” or “Travel charged separately”. It prevents arguments later.
  • Choose how long the quote is valid (7 to 60 days, or a date). The quote then shows a “Valid until” date, so the price isn't open forever.
  • When the customer says yes, switch to Invoice at the top: your business details and items stay, so you only need to change the number and terms. “Next one” counts the number up.
  • Whether a quote is binding, and what it must contain, depends on where you work and on the kind of job. Add anything your country or trade requires, and check if you are unsure.

Frequently asked questions

How do I make a quote?

Choose Quote, add your details, who it is for, the items and prices, and how long it is valid, then download the PDF. The subtotal, discount and tax are worked out for you.

What is the difference between a quote and an estimate?

A quote is usually a fixed price you offer for a defined job; an estimate is a best guess that may change. The layout is the same for both, so say in the notes whether your price is fixed or only an estimate.

Is this quote maker free?

Yes. There is no sign-up, no watermark and no limit on how many quotes you make.

Can I turn the quote into an invoice later?

Yes. Switch the type to Invoice at the top of the tool. Your business details, customer and items stay in place, and you just set the invoice number and payment terms.

Can I add my logo and use my own currency?

Yes. Add a logo (it stays on your device), choose from 23 currencies, pick a colour and choose A4 or US Letter paper.

Is my customer's information uploaded?

No. The quote is made in your browser and never sent to a server. There is no share link either, because it would contain your customer's details.
